BLISS THERAPY BRINGS YOU BACK TO BLISS; OUR NATURAL STATE OF BEING.
Bliss is defined as "complete happiness", which is in essence our natural state of being. At Bliss Therapy we believe that when we have released aches and pains in the body, cleared energy blockages, filled our souls with love and raised our vibrations, we will be brought back to our natural state of bliss.
Quality and technique are the key elements that Bliss Therapy utilizes to bring out your inner bliss. The experience is luxurious yet effective, and will leave you feeling refreshed and like new. It's a beautiful blend of bliss and therapeutic bodywork that allows for a deeply transformative style of massage that is still completely relaxing. By moving to the rhythm of your unique body, the muscles feel free and comfortable to release naturally. The experience is more enjoyable and also more effective in achieving a complete muscular release.
Our style compassionately allows the clients body to guide the therapist through the massage, paying careful attention to each muscles individual need, and providing an experience that helps the natural flow of the body. Regardless if it is your first time receiving a massage or if you have chronic pain that has built up over time, we have the ability to provide a solution that will bring out your inner bliss. We recruit only the top talent, and have assembled the dream team of San Diego massage therapists and estheticians.

Much love & gratitude - Namaste
“I believe wholeheartedly that everything happens for a reason, and since I became a massage therapist in 2011, I feel that my life has been completely transformed in all of the best ways. I am walking the path that I chose, not only for me, but also for everyone that I’m able to heal along the way. I was brought to this earth to share my positivity and shed my light on the souls that I’m fortunate enough to share my gift with, which fills me with more joy than I can express. I hope that my intentions transfer into my clients experience because I am sincerely honored to be able to bring out the inner bliss of the lives of so many, while being completely blessed to do what I love!"

ABOUT JENNIFER
Jennifer Meyer is a dual licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician. She studied skin care at the Euro Institute of Skin and Wellness in Washington and has been a licensed esthetician in California since 2007. After years of practicing skin care and incorporating massage into her facial services, she decided to expand her education and become a Massage Therapist as well. In 2012 she spent 2 months studying massage therapy at Jamu Spa School in Bali, Indonesia and continued her studies at The School of Healing Arts here in San Diego, CA. where she became a licensed massage therapist in 2013.
Jen loves being able to help people feel better both physically thru massage therapy as well as aesthetically by helping with their skincare. Jen's massage style takes a little from several modalities to provide a relaxing as well as therapeutic and healing touch. She believes that every massage and facial is different and should be customized to meet the specific needs of the client at that time. Her favorite part about being in the spa industry is establishing relationships with her clients and seeing the positive results achieved over time from both skin care and massage therapy.
Jen is from beautiful Lake Tahoe, but has traveled and lived in a few places from 2003 until she landed here in San Diego in 2009. She got married in 2015, welcomed her first son into the world in 2017 and another son in 2019. She has 2 Boxers (dogs), enjoys traveling, camping, hiking and exploring the outdoors with her family.

ABOUT MARLA
Marla began her journey as a bodyworker early in life without even knowing it. Her grandmother taught her at a very young age what she would later come to know as Chinese medicine bodywork techniques but that had been passed down to her through Mexican folk medicine ways. She spent her early adulthood completing studies in Engineering before deciding the world was too big to not go out and see it. Travel took her from South America to the Arctic Circle of Canada, from the mountains of Mexico to the waters of the Philippines. Ultimately she found her way back to what she had known as a child and embarked on her journey to become a massage therapist.
She studied in 2012 at the International Professional School of Bodywork where she focused her studies on structural bodywork and how it can be incorporated in classical Swedish massage and Deep Tissue work. Marla uses all the tools and knowledge that she has gained from Native American and traditional Mexican medicine ways to give the work she does depth and lasting healing. She enjoys combining Eastern and Western techniques to tailor her sessions for each client's body and its specific needs. Marla also incorporates aromas and essences into her bodywork and has been a student of plants for over a decade through folk medicine ways that have been shared with her.
When she isn't working with people's bodies she enjoys spending her time with her 2 1/2 year old fireball of a son and her husband, hiking and being in the wilderness, swimming, skating, rock climbing and just being wild!
